Olympic Medal Presentation

A few weeks ago the Olympics were just getting started. I had an idea to motivate the kids by awarding Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. I had categories for math, reading, and art. In total, the kids could earn six medals. I sent a note home at the beginning of the Olympics to share how I would determine Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels. Everyone earned at least one gold medal. It was fun to watch the kids come forward to receive their medals. They seemed so proud.
