Foods Update
Over the past few weeks I have brought foods for the kids to try. I tried to bring things that I thought they might see at Thanksgiving dinner. Here are some things that your children were encouraged to try.
- a fresh veggie tray (carrots, celery, and broccoli)
- stuffing (made from a box)
- cranberry sauce
- a meat and cheese tray (summer sausage, cheddar cheese, and club crackers)
- apple cider (cool, not warm)
- jello salad (strawberry jello with mixed fruit)
- Noodle Salad (noodles, cucumber, tomatoes, and Italian Dressing.
We also had a great big Thanksgiving meal on Monday, November 13th. Ask your child how they liked trying some of the foods and encourage them to try something new at Thanksgiving.
