Attending Mass

We attend mass on Monday's and Friday's each week in Kindergarten. Later in the school year we will begin going more frequently, but for now we are still learning how to participate in Mass. We are learning about when to stand, kneel, make the sign of the cross, and how to sit in a way to listen to Father Morris or Monsignor and the older students.

I would encourage everyone to attend church with their families each week. This is an important part of training your child in the Christian faith. On Monday morning I typically ask the kids if they were able to attend with their families or not. When you do go as a family, encourage your child to participate in the parts of mass that they are able to.
